The Cochrane Musculoskeletal Injuries Group, part of the Cochrane Collaboration,
publishes reviews of controlled trials of interventions in the prevention,
treatment and rehabilitation of fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue
injuries of the appendicular skeleton and associated soft tissues.
Stress fractures in
female runners
This case study is aimed at practitioners and students in physical therapy

Produced by the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN). This
guideline covers an introduction, the prevention of hip fracture, pre-hospital
management, management in accident & emergency, preoperative care,
anaesthetic management, surgical management, early postoperative management,
rehabilitation and discharge, implementation and audit, key messages for
patients, development of the guideline and a key to evidence statements
and grades of recommendations.
